Join the Nepal Cooking School in Thamel for a 2.5-hour, hands-on class led by instructors including Anshu and Nilam. Choose from three four-dish menus, visit a local spice shop, make momos from scratch, and eat what you cook.

Join Nishma, Nish, Bikram, and the Kathmandu Cooking Academy for a hands-on Nepali food class in Thamel. Shop for ingredients at a local market, prepare momos and dal bhat, then sit down to eat what you made. Small groups, optional hotel pickup, and vegetarian choices are available.

Join a small Nepali cooking class in Thamel with a local market visit, hands-on preparation, snacks, and a full meal. Ingredients are included, and vegetarian or vegan menus can be requested. The class lasts about three hours and accepts up to eight people.

Spend two sessions at Kathmandu’s Human Welfare Committee learning Nepali cooking with Buddha, Tara, Aastha, and Syanbi, known as the Momo Queen, then craft your own jewelry. Make masala chai, pakoda, buff momos, and vegetable momos before sharing lunch. The private experience costs $50 per person.
